This unique bookends Ramses the Great and Horus feature one of the most important Pharao.

The pharaoh Ramesses holds the Heqa scepter (symbol of the pharaoh guiding his people) in his crossed hands.

Horus is shown in a standing position, holding the Ouas scepter and the Ânkh cross, as well as the flagellum protruding from his loincloth.

The edges of the bookends feature a pyramid design.

A major exhibition is currently being held at Paris-La Villette, France, on the theme of Ramses the Great & the Gold of the Pharaohs.
