Very nice Egyptian bookends Isis and Osiris featuring the egyptian divinities. Well suited for the decoration of the home library.

Isis, the emblematic goddess, sister and wife of Osiris, is shown standing, wearing a bovid-horned headdress framing a sun disk, and holding the Ouadj scepter associated with goddesses and an Ânkh, the symbol of life.

The Egyptian god Osiris is shown seated, wearing the Atef crown and holding in his crossed hands the Heqa scepter (symbol of the pharaoh guiding his people) and the Nekhekh flagellum, among other symbols of sovereignty.
