The wall ornament Little Planet Paris features a highly original composition that echoes the effect used in photography, which consists of staging a landscape in the form of a circular panorama, in this case represented by the city of Paris. A number of the capital's most emblematic buildings are represented, including the Louvre in the Pavillon Sully with the Pyramid designed by Ieoh Ming Pei, Notre Dame Cathedral the ancient medieval heart of the city, and City Hall near the old Place de Grève, a view of the Montmartre hill overlooked by the Sacré Cœur, the Eiffel Tower with the Trocadero in the background, the Arc de Triomphe, the National Assembly with one of the fountains on the Place de la Concorde and the Luxor obelisk, and a view of the La Défense business district. The city's coat of arms, Fluctuat nec mergitur, completes this majestic composition.
