Trumpf, creator of laser cutting machines
An innovative player in laser cutting
Trumpf is a German multinational company that celebrated its centenary in 2023. From the beginning, the company specialized in the design and manufacturing of flexible shafts and innovative mobile tools. In the 1950s, Trumpf began developing a range of fixed metalworking machines. The digitization journey started in the late 1960s and early 1970s with the first sheet metal machining machine featuring digital contouring control. In the early 1970s, Trumpf initiated research on solid-state lasers, leading to the launch of the first combined punching and laser machine in 1979, followed by the first plasma cutting machine. In the 1980s, the focus shifted to the development of CO2 lasers, and the introduction of the first series of L3000 laser cutting machines. From then on, the company expanded its operations globally. In the early 2000s, Trumpf diversified into bending machines and tube machining. Since then, it has been offering a wide range of high-tech industrial production machines to industrial players, including SMEs, across various sectors. Its flagship activity remains metal laser cutting, making it the European leader and one of the global frontrunners.

Customized Creation Requests
Our initial creations were tested and manufactured on a Trumpf L3030 laser cutting machine. The quality and uniqueness of our decorations caught the attention of the company's executives, who then requested a custom decoration for the inauguration of the new laser center and headquarters of Trumpf Polska in 2016, to be presented to VIPs and event guests. The project revolved around a personalized version of our Chopin bookend model, originally showcased in the Chopin museums of Warsaw and Żelazowa Wola (the composer's birthplace museum). Since then, a model of our Varsovia version of the Little Planet wall ornaments has been displayed in the company's showroom. Subsequent requests for the creation of original models followed for various trade shows and events. For the 20th anniversary of the Polish subsidiary, a smartphone stand was created, and on the occasion of the company's centenary, a desk decoration symbolizing the past and future of the company was crafted. Simultaneously, personalized versions of our Little Planet wall decorations were created for Trumpf Huettinger entities, Trumpf Shared Services in Poland, and a model presented to the CEO of Trumpf GmbH + Co. KG in Germany.
