This beautiful bookend the Royal Gate Gold presents the gate made under the reign of Sun King Louis XIV around 1680 by Jules Hardouin-Mansart. The Royal Gate was reconstructed in 2005-2008.

The version black/Gold of the bookend Royal Gate presents a more detailed drawing of the monument. Moreover, the side of the bookend presents an elevation of the Court of Honour of the Palace of Versailles.
