A superb and highly original clock Le Corbeau et le renard (The Raven and the Fox) draws its inspiration from one of the best-known poems by the genius of the French language, Jean de la Fontaine.

Published in 1668, the poem was inspired by the ancient texts of Aesop and Phaedra. The text was set to music by Jacques Offenbach in 1842, and has been used in various forms in popular art right up to the present day.
